That's a good question Sally, as we all know the points posted on the website were also dated past June 28th - they were up-to-date as of August 16th so good luck Sally! Like others have said, this is a last attempt to get a championship that they feel is rightfully Tom's. ::)

O Our calculations show Tom Walters 1410, Chris Morrow 1408 and Jason Witty 1379. (Walters 2 point ahead)And from Akan Evans
Walters is ahead of Chris thats not b/s its fact when everything is recalculated including walters last night of racing D/q he is still leading in the points by 3 stay tuned ( Walters 3 points aheard)As you see two people and two differant answers, one says 2 points the other says 3, so what are you to believe? that is why tracks have people in place that know what they are doing..
I believe that if two people (there are more ) had Walters ahead albeit by a difference of a point 2 & 3 points respectively then l would listen and take the time to look at it and see if they were correct or otherwise and if i were 100% sure that they were wrong l would put my name to it its that simple because as you so foolishly say (quote) "that is why tracks have people in place that know what they are doing". lets not go there You seem to take it as a personal slur, but one more time it has been well documented that Deb inherited a mess why do you think that the points were NEVER posted consistently on Sunsets Site despite the hundreds of pleas from their drivers and fans.I do not know of any track in North America that does not give out there points so that the drivers, crews and fans can see how they are doing. The race tracks created the points system to control their drivers and keep them coming back week after week this has been an insult to all of us that call Sunset our home and only complain because we care because it is or was our home track and we should be shown some respect for competing at it,it is not the old days when racers were treated like dogs. It is important for every the racer who tries hard and is proud of the effort their team makes. If you are a racer or live for racing you will understand, if you are not just keep talking stupid. We compete to see how well we can do, a points system tells us how well we did.
What I can't understand is we all knew the scoring had issues at the beginning of the season and once Deb took over she did her best to keep on top of it. For the last month or so Deb's points standings were posted by the pits most race nights. At this point you could check to see if they agreed with what your own calculations were. If the error in th LLM goes back to June 28th why was the discrepancy not brought to Deb's attention before the end of the season?
Just wondering???
Good point Sally as you say most race nights, the truth is that a lot of people gave their honest opinions and thats what they were opinions of the points standings in order to try and get it back on track. Its being brought to Debs attention now so let her double check and answer the question and we will see.
The points and results should be posted on the site before the next race as fans like to see how close the points battles are. I know I got to many sites to see results and standing and most tracks do have them.
It is not much for a fan or team to ask for they shouldn't have to beg for them.
I cant see why the points tally came to this, from the posts ive read on here regarding individuals point totals for example, the 4 cyls discrepancies that joe,ken and anyone else in that class ,they had no problem getting someone to help verify all of their nightly scores. How hard could it be to do the same for any of the other classes.
