Sunset Speedway Registered Drivers for 2013
This is the best registration of drivers since it was taken over by the new owners in 2009.
When you look @ the names and the competition in these divisions will be the best in Ontario if not in all of Canada for asphalt short track racing.
These Registrations are as of today's date. Who knows who else will be coming our way by opening day Saturday May 4th.
The 2013 Schedule is probably the most agressive ever with 17 regular race nights for our Late Models, Super Stocks and Mini Stocks - 5 scheduled events for the OSCAAR Super Late Models with there Modified Division - 3 Invitationals for the Late Models, Super Stocks & Mini Stocks + The Sunset- Sauble Speedway Track Challenge. The Pro Challenge cars will be there for 4 events. The Canadian Vintage Modifieds have 2 evnts. The Po 4 Modifieds will be there for there 1st. time and @ there test last year did mid 14 second times. The Can-Am Midgets are also back for 2 events.
For the first time ever (I think) the ISMA SUPER MODIFIEDS will be @ Sunset Speedway on Sun. Aug.18th.
At the end of the Season (Sept 28-Sept 29) will be our Velocity 250 for the Late Models, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, Pro Challenge Cars Canadian Vintage Modifieds, OSCAAR Super Late Models and the OSCAAR Modifieds.
With A line up like this for 2013 where else would you want to be. The firmed up schedule should be up on the web - site buy March 16th.

The 2013 Late Model class should be a good one a lot of good drivers. Looks like it's going to be another good year of racing at Sunset Speedway.
some drivers just register at tracks so they have their number for invitationals and also so they can run that tracks rules at other tracks invitationals...are micks and lapcevich both running late models and Cascar?...
Also let you run the track on off nights as well.
not sure what cost is at other tracks but flammy charges $100 for a membership on signup day, $125 after....sunset minis $56.50, good deal there...
