I was asking someone about that car s couple of years ago when Darcy first came back, and they had mentioned that he still had it.  I remember that car running on the old Barrie config. in the early 90's, and it seemed it was the only car that could run the high grove better than the low grove on the old track.

Was a good night...huge crowd on hand.

I took a friend that has never seen a race before...and he made mention of Archibald's driving...he was like "does that 07 car just hit everyone and everything?"  I was like "yea pretty much...other cars....the wall...the grass..just needs to hit the pace car to be perfect"  he didn't get the days of thunder reference sadly haha.

Hats off to the whole SS field as well...when the 27  spun basically at the front of the pack right in the middle of the straight away and nobody touched him...nice job of driving by everyone.

Awesome pictures, Dan! 🙂

With those words Thayne, I can't wait to see what's in Josh's plans.

3-Wide, lol it seems like that with the way he drives, though it was interesting when him and Edward Cole ended up racing each other as they both seem to have that style at times. That entire incident in turn 3 as a whole looked good on them both. As far as Edward Cole's spin, I got to agree with you on everybody's driving as I was just waiting for somebody to hit him. And kudos to everybody on their driving down the backshoot when Lang got loose off of turn 2 and bottlenecked the field. Overall, this feature really allowed the talent to come out as you got to see who could really drive and at the end, the top cars ended up near the front battling for the win.

-------------------------------------------
Congratulations to Chris Morrow on winning the Late Model feature for his second win of the year. He was followed to the line by Taylor Holdaway and rookie Sean Grossman. Heat wins went to Keith McLeod, Morrow, Dwayne Baker and Tom Walters.

Congratulations to Dave Doucette on winning the Super Stock feature for his first win of the year. He was followed to the line by Matt Bentley and Kyle Donaldson. Heat wins went to Bentley, Doucette, Chance Isherwood, Donaldson, Jason Elliott and Dan Archibald.

Congratulations to Kevin Vanderbeek on winning the Mini Stock feature for his fourth in a row (wasn't there last week), sixth of the year and the eighth feature of the season for Donaldson Racing. He was followed to the line by Doug Butler and Dave Glaze. Heat wins went to Butler(x2), Clodd, Ken Donaldson Jr.(x2) and Vanderbeek. Also, congrats to Shawn Ryan on winning the Mini Stock B-feature.

Full results are at the site: http://ashyracing.webs.com with pictures pending. I also have a copy of the point standings as of July 31st so I will post those after.
