Rumours create non factual events of what may or may not  have happened at Sunset.....  Lets just let the speedway deal with this and go on from there ......things Will work out .....for a lot of us this is just a fun sport ...let's keep it that way

Mark has spoken, this might as well br dropped....one question though...is the 'bond' a sum of money that can be paid to go back racing again or is that on top of the suspensions?

If I understand the bond concept it goes something like this....after the suspension is served you have to post a bond to the track before you can race again. It is held until the last race of the season and if you "offend" again then the bond is forfit, if you are a good boy then you get the bond back. Kinda like probation except with a penalty clause. I would assume that if you committed another "offence" serious enough to have your bond cashed then you would be done racing for the year. Another way to look at it is a performance bond as in construction. It is basically a promise to do the work as contracted, if you don't we cash your bond and get someone else to do the work. Brings to mind the phrase "trust but verify".

I was just putting my best guess forward of what this means Scooter. This seems like the most logical explaination of how it should work though.

Mark I know you didn't want to comment on the incident in question but if you could reply with a simple yes if my thought on the bond is correct or a no with a short note on how the bond works I think it would be appreciated. Thanx
