Why cant there be a cult following of epic proportions at the local tracks?(around here) Let me just say I know their are people that come to Sunset everyweek. Why cant their be more? Mark Dilley has done an amazing job at the recreation of Sunset over the winter months. Truly awesome. Now the question is, can we get the seats filled? I know the old saying goes something like "If you build it, they will come". How are they supposed to get there if they have never heard of the place before. I'm shocked at the amount of people I've talked to, that dont even know where Sunset Speedway is. It could be the general public doesn't read the same Inside Track Magazines and CRO forums. If thats the case, lets get into what they read or hear. Its not long ago I remember hearing that old Country Sunset Speedway Jiggle on the radio. But I'm sure Mark Dilley will do a great job, with the marketing skill he has. Looking forward to this year.

I'm just saying I personally want to see Sunset Speedway filled with people, week in and week out.
What do you guys think? Any ideas?

I am sure he will have a media day or something like that when the track is ready. Get some reporters out there and let them drive a car around the track. Hell if one of them crashes there will be all kinds of free PR LOL. They will make more reporters 😀
