sunset speedway!!!!!!

I am just writing this post to say how amazing all the people and the race track are and making my race team feel very welcomed their....Also I want to thank many people as well for my enjoyable  weekend there for every thing ...

  First I want to thank Ted Gray for all the help on my race car over the weekend....Thanks to Jim Beleskey for letting me borrow a rearend to try to get back on the track and also the help to get it in......Like to Thank all of the 25 team as well for everything (Jim and Jay Cutting) also scott Murie for the beautiful sweaters...I would also like to thank the numerous people that stopped by my pit to talk to me or a member of my crew or stopped us some where in the pits to chat...I just want to thank everyone that made or weekend a very fun one ,what track can you go to 7 hours away and blow your rearend and transmission and not even race  and still leave smiling and wanting to go back for more.........sorry if i didnt write  every one names but i would be here forever so thank you sunset speedway,,staff ,,,racers and fans ......One more thank you to spencer Lewis for helping me all year on picking a race schedule down there and all that hype on the pa about me ....

        Now I would like to thank people from my race team as well my crew chief Kev Girardi for making the trip with me and also my pit man Gary Gendron for coming all that way to ...I huge thank you to Jon and Terri-Lynn sullivan for housing us all weekend....My new little neice and hopefully number#1 fan Kianna sullivan.....I would like to thank all the boys that helped me on the car all weekend Gary Gilbert ,Jeff Pelletier,,Jon sullivan and my pit crew to....Also like to thank Melissa Pemper and Joyce Norris ...Thank you'se all for a fantastic weekend ...

      Now I  need to thank the heart and soul of my race team and the reason my racing can continue on..This may seem alittle weird to hear but I have to thank my mother Pat Palumbo for making everything possible...We are a mother son race team normally you  hear it's a father son thing or father/mother team but it is just her and I ,,well also my friends that are on the crew but the main part of my team is my mother .......THANK YOU

You're a class act Mike and I for one am happy to see the #20 unloaded at any track I go to. Thanks for making the trip 🙂

Hopefully if you ever need a couple laps to sort ur car out again between races,they will give you that chance.I seen you pull out on the track for a couple laps,then the tech man running out there,next thing ur not allowed.hmmm
This has been allowed for sunset cars,and i think with you travelling the distance you did,should of been no problem,kind of like "hey thanks for travelling 7 hrs to race here".
Iam sure there was some reason why Ted didnt allow it,but i think it was in poor taste. 😮 😮 😮

I don't know this for sure so this is why I'm asking.  Isn't the rule for returning to the track during heats, assumably due to how short they are that you are not allowed?  I think thats what Spencer said because I was wondering the same thing.

I do agree though that some liance should be allowed for someone travel that far.  But I guess a rule is a rule.

Either way, as a fan I appreciate you making the long drive to put on a show, even with your bad luck that night.  Hopefully we'll see you more often.
