Excellent night of racing. Good car count wth no junk and some very good clean racing. Think the LM only had two or three cautions. Wish all late model shows could be as exciting as this one. The super stocks had a hell of a race as well.
Wow being around Barrie at 530 or so I didnt think the night was gonna happen; even at the track it was sunny around but a rain cloud overhead and around as well..it was like the sky was split in 2. Great night as mentioned with few cautions and wrecked cars which should make the teams very happy. Unfortuantely that 33 superstock was involved again in a mess that seemed to really wreck the 10 of Cybalski (spelling). I can't say what happened or who was at fault but trouble seems to follow Dan. Too bad because that car is fast and he could win a race here and there. That 72 of Russnel is some kinda fast isn't it; he went from the back to 3rd I think passing some real fast cars and would have had a showdown with Roth with a caution and some more laps. In LM Hathaway was there but didnt qualify; he may have had an engine go but I couldnt hear well over the speaker. Thank goodness the weight changes worked to make the race more competitive All in all yes a great show especially for a Wednesday. Thanks to all those drivers again who travel and shell out big dollars for our enjoyment; it truly is appreciated.
Heard in the pits that the Hathaway LLM was sold, that's why it didn't race. Anyone confirm this and if so, to who?
Goetz (24) from Sauble bought it.
He will begin racing the new one and dilley will be in that 24 at Barrie next week.
Sunset and Wednesday night racing go together like PB & J ;D
