I think there were 24 late models. At the end of the race the only ones in the lead lap was the leader and Bentley. Must have been pretty weird for Parker to be in the 3rd place and getting the move over flag

Yes, Walters indeed lapped everyone except the 51 of Bentley, who was about 1/4 lap behind Walters. The 47 was absolutely on rails, I have never seen such a dominant performance at that level. There was a full field (25) of some very, very good cars. There was a lap one wreck which knocked out 5 cars(9,11,84,28,33) and the 09 had to retire with a broken rear end.
Walters time trialed 2/10 faster than anyone else, the inversion was 9 or 10 cars so he started 5th row. He missed the lap one wreck, worked forward and took the lead around lap 15, and ran away after that.
The 22 of Cox was strong, got spun early and worked his way from the back up to 5 or 6 at the end, I dont recall if he got around the 44 or not at the end.

Can't believe that many cars missed the set-up.LOLOLOL  Is it true Tom was 2 tenths off the 9 outlaw times in time trials?

yes he lapped all but the 51 of bently. 24 cars started. wreck on lap 1 took out 6 near the front, but a whole bunch of really good lates got lapped byTom. His jump off of the corner was outrageous. the other drivers must  be wondering what the hell he has under the hood 'cause he made all but Bentley look very bad... he lapped 3rd after about 50 green flag laps. to put it in perspective, he would have had to be 3/10s faster per lap to do that.

The same could almost be said of Rusnell in the Thunders. cautions kept him from lapping more but except for Lane, he was way better than the rest. same thing, huge yank off the corner.

thunders. Zardo second, Herb Walters, Matt Mullholland 3rd and 4th i think

Mini stock. Doug Butler, Gary Jones, 36 sauble honda (very fast didn't get his name), then Darryl Fice and Billy Swartzburg i think

Walters time trialed at 14.19 sec. not sure how that compares to the super lates.
