I don't think the car is illegal, I haven't heard, but Mike wouldn't build an illegal car and I really don't think Tom would have an illegal engine, he wouldn't need to do that.

My concern is parity and there is something that needs to be changed to bring it in.  It could be the use of "bump stops".  Cars that are hooked up on them are very fast, and cars that are not are way off.

Parity means taking away advantages that most teams can't either afford or understand.  The newer built cars on bump stops could be the rocket we're seeing and there is nothing wrong with the car, but there is lot's wrong with unequal or too much spread in competition.

Installing new shocks with compression and rebound variances is much simpler than figuring out the bump stop program and for  most teams it's a new area of racing that not many know about.  That goes for invaders as well.....no bump stops. 

funny how the 2 rocket cars only use their uber secret new chassis and bumpstops during specials and leave that at home on regular saturdays...
