I just wanted to make a shout out of Congratulations to Sunset International Speedway and Wide Open Motorsports Solutions on the Grand Opening tonight of this beautifully done reconstruction of an important track in the history of Ontario stock car racing!

Great night of racing all in all.. I can add the top 5 in each division but no report as I didnt take notes.
Mini Stock -- #51 ( no idea on the driver name cause I couldnt hear the P.A where I was sittin but a Donaldson prepared car). 2nd was the #66 Neon of Mike "Speedy" Smith formerly of Sauble, 3rd #33 Warren Paxton, 4th #10 Doug Butler, 5th #79 Nicole Podewils. I counted 32 cars
Thunders -- #53 Kyle "Wheely" Donaldson for the 2nd week in sucession, 2nd #22 Jason Elliott, 3rd #07 Dave Archibald, 4th #23 Paul Maltese, and 5th #44 Dave "The Deuce" Doucette.21 cars in attendance
Late Models -- #9 Brandon Watson for the 2nd week in sucession, #11 Chris Morrow, #47 Stompin Tom Walters, #48 Dwayne Baker, and #19 Jason Witty were the top 5. 23 cars in attendance, but 21 started the feature after a bad wreck in the 2nd set of heats involving the 45 of Poole and the 03 of Caprichio
Glad to here it was a good night at Sunset.
Very good night of racing and a large car count and a lot of fans.
Only one complaint is from my daughter they took away the small kids playground.
A lot of tracks made the call early to cancel racing and Sunset held off and it was a great night for racing.
