As an example of what happens when you push the weather.... Was Sunny in Peterborugh for this story... Hurrican whatever, was on its way through here however..
2nd last week at KD, Derek risked it and tried to run it. There were 10 fans (no joke) and it starting raining before the semi. We got soaked, wasted time and gas on meaningless heat races, the track took a big finiacal hit, as did the drivers.
The track did do the classy thing and gave us all tow money, $50 bucks for thunder. So they took in $140 from fans, and payed out thounsands, we all got wet, lost money, and didn't do any meaningful racing.
Ross I still want you to try on these boots. Please
Why I don't have and sheep 😉
Ross, the point is it's clear - not cloudy, and it's championship weekend. Plus, okay let's say we forget about today. What about tomorrow? They could've tried running tomorrow.

See Barrie. There were what 50 fans there for last Sunday... That was was advertised weeks before. Sunday dosn't work.
Would you run for no purse but points?
There could be some that'd like to as they know they can improve their position and possibly win the title.
