Can someone post the points system used at Sunset? Barrie's points grid is easy to find on the website but I couldn't find anything comparable on Sunset's site. Both tracks top 15 llm's have a points spread very similar, approximately 400 across the 15 positions. However, to be a valid comparison, obviously any differences in points scoring must be taken into account. Such exercises are always entertaining, if they are done fairly.
OK Blackflagagain let's call a truce, your'e right I thought we were friends too. I did not know who you were until this got way out of hand and then it was to late. But honestly you really should see this racing at Sunset as I know you really like the late models and that show is flippin Awsome.
Well as I say guys I am well aware of the LLM guys that race at Sunset and told you how many of them I'd pay to see and that # is less than 5!!!! Are you guys forgetting I grew up at THE DUMP ON THE HUMP and have seen many of the current LLM guys there race 30 times over??? Most of them were not even good Thunder drivers in their days there!!! My opinion, but then again my money too and I'll spend it where I get some bang for the buck!! If I need a fix from another track it will be Kawartha or following the OSCAARs around!!! I did go to the last Thurs show at THE DUMP cause there was nothin else to do that night, and in the 4cyl and Thunder I didnt even see one lead change!!! You call that racing??The highlight was watchin some kid named Marshall Pender drive from the back of the pack in the appriopriately named " READY FOR THE CRUSHER" class in a car that from what I hear is not exactly legal for that classes rules!!! Almost thought of claiming it for 700 myself!!!LOL I like going to a track where rules are actually abided by and you dont have people running so illegal even Ray Charles could see it!! I just find that is the formula for competitive racing myself!! And MIPRO thanks for the offer but as you know I work at Barrie and wouldnt give that up to pay the 15 or 20 bucks whatever it is to watch a race, where I already know the outcome from sitting at home!! And by the way you must of missed the part where I said that I have been to Sunset probably more times than all of you combined and thanks for the ride offer but I'll pass!!!
What about you Big Dog ,maybe we should car pool being theres no place to park in the parking lot at sunset not with the standing room only crowd they"ve been getting.
