Road to the cure.....Sunset Speedway cancer fundraiser

Hi all, I would like to announce that Sunset Speedway will play host to "The Road to the Cure" fundraiser car show and concert to raise money for Royal Vitoria Hospital and Cancer research on July 25, 2010. I am involved in getting this off the ground so here, on Canadian Racing Online, I am reaching out to all in the racing industry to come on board with donations, purchase tickets, volunteer, or even set up contacts of people you may know who would want to take part like celebs, pro athletes, etc...Big things are happening and cool stuff has been booked, stay tuned, or follow it on Facebook for now under "road to the cure". A website is being build as i post this. As info becomes available, I will post it here as well as on www.insidetracknews.com It only takes about 10 seconds to think of 1 person you know who has been affected by some form of cancer......I know 7 off the top of my head, friends and family.....how many do you know?Send me a PM if you are interested in getting involved in some way, donating money, or even know a celeb/ pro athlete/ etc...Thanks for your time people!

Junior; I will back you 100%, as you well know, my wife had cancer, and is in her 7th your of being free of it. I know the feeling of having to face the issue. Let me know what I can do to help you get this off the ground and just maybe an annual thing.
