Rules are rules, he should only lose his points for that race only.
For sure! I mean I've seen some instances over the years that may have warranted Walters getting the flag, but nothing I've seen, or heard about this instance leads me to believe that this is one of them. Seriously, this is a big kick in the pants for Walters. I would be losing it! I hope he can manage to overcome the immense irritation and frustration that I know I'd have over this meat-head call, and go out there Saturday and get what's been his all year. Heck if it was me, I'd be kicking a little on the way out at the end of the night too. Sunset, you may have just sealed your fate.

I guess you have not been around Sunset as long as most of us,l would have to say that without a doubt this year has been the bottom of the barrel,l dont think they should hand Walters the championship and l'm sure a class act like Chris Morrow would not want it handed to himself either this way but like l said these army guys no nuthin about nuthin thats why they are in the army,its like never leaving home,a real racer would understand and obviously you aint one.
Man what dont you get? He was black flagged plain and simple. I enjoy watching Walters race, he is the very best period. Now if you want to talk racing I will be in #25 TC pit Saturday night doing my job.

Not at all, I wanted to see a race for it. Now there's no race to be had. A 'behind the scenes" call has predicted the outcome. As you said, he should have lost his points for that race only. Then, we'd still have a points battle, wouldn't we? We're getting closer, and closer to a 'scripted' race. Just imagine, maybe in the next couple of years the drivers meeting will consist of the officials laying out the scenes for the night. "Okay, Driver 'A', on lap 9, you take the lead from Driver 'B', and Driver 'C', on lap 10 you stuff it into the corner way deep, and trunk Driver 'B'. Driver 'B' then over corrects, and collects Drivers D, E, and F in the ensuing melee"
Yep, Oshweken sounds like good racing this week.
