Here is a guy trying to put a show on for the fans that pay a good buck to come and watch each and every week, even coming back on the track to race with what amounted to half a race car in one of the features and this is the type of pat on the back he gets from the sunset officials for making their show better.I will definately be whereever this guy decides to run next year,i just hope its not sunset.
Hey Skidder no disrespect ive watched Walters since i was a kid and always enjoyed watching him race but i mean how can you warrant to not apply rules to one person...i may or may not disagree but rules are rules am i not correct??
Cheers
Mike
Skidder yes on one of the cautions he did go into the pits and come right back out. But the pit stop in question Tom went into the pits and we waited 3 1/2 laps, we count them. Then the pits is notified when the white is being thrown and then the green. If he choose not to listen to the officials, he has to pay the price. You can't claim ignorance for something you know. And as far as leaving the track right away, your wrong I personally counted with others and he was min two laps on the track before he finally exited....
This statement is said without a doubt...........

You are correct my freind in that rules are rules but sometimes things happen that we as race fans just dont get to see and yes rules do get reversed in some cases once the facts are known as in the case of the 4 cyl when burrows was given the win over ithe actual race winner when it was reported by a TRACK OFFICIAL that the actual winner had committed a breach of the rules. I do believe that it was changed later and the win taken away from burrows and given to the actual race winner.I'm just saying sometimes things are not exactly what we see.I guess only the pit boss knows the true facts.
GENERAL RULES" which explains how to conduct yourself as a driver while being at the speedway
Been looking for these on the website, just for poops and giggles, but don't see them posted. Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Ben
