Tom's rep notwithstanding (I just watched the video) he clearly had the inside in turn three and had to slam on the brakes to keep from getting side slammed by the 41 (7:09 in the video). Then I'm sure his brakes were hot and he couldn't quite get whoa'd up out of four  😉 😉

interesting perspective, but if tom was 5 or 8 tenths faster, why could he not just drive around the outside of the 41?  That IS, after all, why so many people love sunset is it not?  2 groove track.

From watching Tom in the heats and feature he is hesitant to go to the outside.

The 41 was running a bit low coming out of turn 4 although, Tom was pushing hard and didn't let up and in turn got into Holdaway's rear quarter. Hard racing by both drivers.

My bad the 41 ran a good race and didn't use the whole track but tried to protect the bottom line where Walters wanted to pass.The 41 did run high in 4 and came down to protect it again and Tom was there.I see what Taylor was trying to do but Tom was not at fault.
