and to add to that I was irked to read that during this lunch convo with Wes it was discussed that if the four funs do not start behaving then the whole class will be cleared out. What a threat!
That is an excellent learning class and a springboard to your next class of drivers. That class has a lot of concerns and if they are talking like they are it is not to be a pain in the butt it is to hope that somebody hears their concerns. I have heard them talking about safety concerns, cheating, being felt like they are left out. Those guys work just as hard to get out every week and although they may not be as pretty as a late model they bring in much more cash to the track.
I bet the total payout for this class is around $500 (I could do the actual math but too much time). With only the driver paying to get in and 30 cars showing up that brings in $360. Add to that most four fun drivers bring a crew with them and fans in the stands that include mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, sister, brother, cousin and friends that pay to get in along with paying for food. Glenn had told me once he would make more money just running a 4 cylinder track.
If four fun drivers (and 4 cylinder for that matter) are being this vocal somebody should be begging to step up and listen because it is important.

Harold I really dont think any 4 fun or 4 cyl. guys have anything to worry about. After seeing such a large number of you these guys racing on sat. night ,what between 60 -65 drivers between the two 4 cyl classes , any owner would have to be nuts not to treat these guys with all the respect in the world. There are enough of these guys racing that if only a fraction of them stay with racing and move up in the classes that the thunders and llm could survive for a long long time.

it appears , due to a very pissed off sponsor that i will not be attending sunset this weekend. when he heard i was leaving the area, he wanted his money back because he was expecting LOCAL advertising. so i ordered a whole whack of parts for monday! i'll need them!
Truth is one excuse is as good as another,your a home boy and would never leave Barrie anyway,chill out and enjoy the racin if you don't wreck you could win the feature this weekend then it will be the "greatest track in Canada",racers are soooooooooooo predictable its true its true.
