Has anyone from Sunset heard anything about a couple of classes being done away with in 2009???    If this rumor is true, then lets close the gates, and look for another track that will be willing to run them next year. THEY ARE THE FOUR CYLINDERS AND THE FOR FUN CLASSES.

LOL, would you believe it if someone told you that for 2009 it will be full time SLM instead of LLM? Like logistically it doesn't make sense, for the about $400 purse for four funs on an average nights, its a money maker by the time you include there crew and family and what they purchase as the concessions. Same with 4 cylinders, yes they do get paid more than four fun but still by the time you work out driver+crew+family its balances out. Just look at it that way, think of how much money would be lost by just running a LLM TC show, your paying good money in the purses for each division, and are gonna get the same to less crowd. Are you going to charge less on admission because you only have 2 divisions, it just doesn't make sense any way you look at it.

This is the 3rd different rumour in the last 2 weeks, and they all come out of the same group of people who now race else where.
