it's a great idea and gives the backmarkers somehting to shoot for...almost like a B feature.

thats exactly what i thought of when i heard how we were doing it
didn't sunset use to do something like this wayyy back in the day?
I bealive you said something about that also over the p.a. Spence
It's an intersting race..I just worrie it might tear up some cars....beacuse basicly if your near the back..it's 1 lap to "get it done" or your "going home" ...so it could get a little nasty.
also speaking of other events...so much for the "bus racing"...hahaha...not like I cared..but that was funny only 1 bus would start...should have ran the bus in the spectator races...LOL!
they were real big back in the 60s and 70s at sunset apparently....
I used to love the Australian Pursuit races back in the day. I have longed for a track to go back to this format and I am glad that Sunset is trying this again. It's too bad I cant get down there to see one of these, but great idea none the less for some of the mid pack to back marker cars to earn a little extra cash. And I agree with you Spencer 10 cars for ten laps would be thrilling to watch. I think these races are a staple of Wes Good's ownership dating back to the late 70's and its nice to see him back running the track. ( as opposed to the alternative I bet the Sunset faithful feel like they've won the lottery now)LOL. Good luck to Wes and all the Sunset drivers for the remainder of the season. One last thing. Will these races be occuring weekly or more like monthly??? Just curious on that???
