I like the new format so much i packed up and went home didn't even bother racing my last race as a 4 fun at sunset. It's a great idea (sarcasm) lets sit there for 6 hours and then run all 3 of your races in a row at the end of the night with no one around to watch, i'm glad my sponsers paid good money for my car to race in front of 5 people.
I should've followed in your footsteps and gotten the hell outta there. None of us got to race whatsoever because of two seconds of rain the night was called without running us (or the latemodels.). Wonderful. Wonderful. I'd had enough. I've been having enough all year and kept thinking it would've gotten better. But nope.
Why comment on something you know NOTHING about!!!
If knowing nothing means thinking that without a cage you are going to get hurt, and seeing what happened last saterday, is still knowing nothing. I'm happy knowing nothing then. I'd hate to know what "something" is...

No not the cage thing. The question was about the evenings schedule and how they placed the 4 funs at the end of the nite. No talk at all about cages and safety. The concern I think was that it felt like a slap in the face to run at the end of the nite doing heat-heat-feature all in one row once the real racing was over.
It was simply asked how everybody felt about that line up change and you replied about safety and cages again. You were not there and don't know the facts. People were given a grace period this week to race anyways in case you didn't know. They are also running the next 2 weeks for no points while cars get safety ready. There is also somebody appointed to be a spokesperson for the class and will be emailing everybody throughout the week and is having a meeting with the big guy next saturday at 5:00.
Good to hear.. Sounds like me not knowing, was not knowing that you guys are on the path to getting it worked out.
Hey even if you run at the end of the night, the real fans will stick around... I'll say it again, I was at the fence at 12:30 am to watch your guys "b"
Just for the record I don't race in the four fun but I don't like seeing some of things that have been done to this class throughout the years and for some silly reason it bothers me.
I started in this class and in my first year took the title of track champion then moved up. My son then took over the car in that division. He raced for a year but I felt the division to be too unsafe (not the car but the driving mentality) so moved him up to 4 cylinder.
This is your next wave of drivers. Any track owner needs to realize that. The days of the good ol' boys are over our next wave of racers are trading in their Xbox skills for real life track skills and you need a easy way to slide them into racing.
For sure the safety of the car is a big issue but I have always said in that division there needs to be even more than that. They will tech the top 3 cars when the truth is those cars are probably in better shape than what most people drove to the track in. Take a look at the last 3 cars.. now that is scary and a a safety issue. These new drivers also should have some in class training or on track training. Maybe a once a month clinic put on by a fellow driver in a division up and make it manditory to attend a clinic before racing to know how to run a line among other things.
