Hahaha I love this place and all of the controversy...
hey guys don't where else to post this but how was Rick Drinkwaters driving habits when he raced at Sunset? he seemd pretty vicious on saturday night at Barrie. almost walled me and then cut me off. He was all over the place. he hit every car in our heat races at least once. Is that normal?
Yes if someone from sunset speedway could please let us know, the rumour and I say rumour is that he was thrown out of sunset for rough driving, and is now driving a barrie speedway. I know the two tracks play against one another and people put each others tracks down, but this is about safety for the drivers. We have already had 3 drivers injured very badly, and the last thing we want to see is another. We are only looking for the truth, and if this is true then we would like the opportunity to protect our drivers from someone who may cause unnecessary wrecks. We at barrie speedway are trying very hard to minimize the rough driving in all divisions to protect all drivers on the track. Maybe it's time the tracks talk to each other when drivers are banned for these reasons. These are the kind of drivers we don't need in our sport.
sorry to kill the rumour guys, but ricky left on his own accord
as for the rough driving, thats simply his "style", he's had the same style since he was a 14 year old driving four fun, and I doubt it's going to change anytime soon
as for you guys wanting to reduce the amount of contact in the charger division, perhaps mention the possibility of moving up to the a division, to ricky, as I dont think he really needs to be in the charger division in the first place
well Spencer! when Rick showed up they made him go to the Charger class cause he is a new driver to the track. he does have a quick car though so maybe he would be better in the "A" division. It's hard to tell. The "A" division is a little more rough then the chargers....and all us chargers drive so clean every week and respect each other. I don't think we need a driver like Rick in our class. But if he calms down then we would all just welcome him with open arms.
