yea I think it was said over the PA...that whoever normaly drives the #8 was away on a fishing trip, and Mike was filling in.... I'm not 100% sure though.
and talking about is getting a 6cly acura TC built....sounds interesting...wonder how that's gonna work out.

Rob Gibson the driver of the #8 car (the #40 car of Mike Zinkie last year) is in Michigan watching the races. I would imagine he might be fishing but most likely fishing cold ones out of a cooler.
Yes Mike Zinkie was filling in for Rob tonight driving the #8 car and ran a very solid race.
