Well HandyDandy "I am just a fan" or should I say Well Wes "I am just a promotor" welcome back to CRO.  Your advertised 2009 purses look pretty good, but then again with no points fund they should be better than other tracks with year end points funds.  I think any of the Barrie drivers that finished in the top 10 in 2008 points did alright.  I was very happy with the money in 2008 at Barrie Speedway, Vegas was fun too.  Would be nice to see Sunset schedule there 100 lap LLM shows on a Sunday or an off night for LLM at Barrie so we can have a LLM show similar to the TC shows last year.

and Wes, I pay 18 bux to get in and 90 for the membership...that is pittles.

Last year the LLM at Barrie ran 2 x 12 lap heats and a 35 lap feature for total of 59 racing laps.  With what I heard this year they are only running 1 heat and 2 x 25 lap features so if the heat is 12 laps,  they are only running 3 laps more than last year.  Don't have 100% clarification on that, just what I heard

Don't get me wrong I agree...I am just saying it isn't like they are running a tonne more...I think the more feature races will lead to more carnage so they may ask the owners to up it as we all know if there s any po'd ppl after the first feature...thje second cld be nasty!

I've seen it before ,where a driver gets pissed off in an early race whether it be a heat race or a feature race and comes out looking for revenge in a later race.Still more laps,means more cost to the drivers,especially at the tight confines of barrie.Purse should most definately be increased to help recover some of these extra costs.
