Like I noted in another thread, a friend came with me that has never seen a race before...and even after just a couple of heats he said "does that 07 car just hit everyone and everything?"
I wonder will it take somebody giving him a taste of his own medicine, for him to smarten up....I doubt it, but you have to think it's comming.... after how many people he has run into...has anyone dumped him yet? I can't recall seeing it. Whats funny is...the car dosn't even seem that slow, if he just stoped getting himself black flaged and sent to the back all the time he would probably have some decent finishes.
I'm with 3 Wide, car seems pretty good. Maybe the guy can even drive? Just haven't seen anything other than him banging into everything he comes near. I had a newbie with me at the track Saturday too who noticed his bumper-car style. He seems to always follow the on track antics with bouts of rage in the pits as well. Maybe dude could benefit from some anger management....might improve his finishes! I don't find him entertaining, I find him down right irritating!
I have to agree with all that's been said. Yes, too, at times Edward Cole (27) can be the same way, though not as far as this guy is. I have to say that it'd be interesting to see if he does get a taste of his own medicine and who gives it to him first.
Maybe someone should give him directions for going on up the 400 hwy. continue onto hwy. 11 and make a right turn onto the eighth of ORO and let him try to to those plain "STUPID STUNTS up at that other speedway. By the way Mark was talking very nicely to him in the centre of the area for those who are out of the races, hopefully he will be gone for life out of Sunset. I sat on corner 4 and watched him deliberately take the care out and also wide reckless driving tho out the qualifying heat races. If he show up at Sunset again Mark can have a $2000.00 bond put on him , that if he dose any stupid stunt again either pay the price of forfeit the car and trailer
He paid a lot more for that car than $2000.00 lol He has a legal agreement to run that car AT SUNSET lol so you`re stuck with him lol like it or not. Go Dangerous Dan we love ya man!
I would just like to say again that the driver of the 07 car does not care what happens to anyone on the track. On the first lap of the feature he intentionally turned the 27 car around in front of the entire field. It was just a complete miracle that nobody hit him sitting sideways on the front stretch. If someone had of hit him it could have been a devastating hit and would have caused a significant amount of damage to a large number of cars. Towards the end of the feature when the 27 car caught up to the 07 car (27 sent to the back for pitting to have a flat tire changed) he deliberately turned into him and spun him out going into turn 3 which resulted in the 6 car hitting the 27 hard in the front end and ended the night for both of them. All this being said Mark Dilley himself came onto the race track and told the 07 driver that he was black flagged for rough driving. When the 07 car drove to the infield he then proceeded to have a very involved confrontation with Mark in front of the entire grandstand full of people. This is a complete disgrace for the speedway and it’s clear he has no regard for track officials. That right away should result in him at least being suspended from the speedway. If he wanted to voice his concern he should have done it after the race in the pit area away from all the spectators. As I said before he has no regard for anyone and will continue to drive with no care for anyone else on the track. Something needs to be done before it’s too late! I see that Tom Cook also noted something needs to be done about the 07 car in his post on the inside track pit board forum.
With the way the 07 has been driving as of late, almost wrecking anybody that attempts to go by him and then spinning the 27 a second time,it sure was something to actually see Mark Dilly go out on the track immediately and point to the infeild parking the 07 for the night. He really has shown that he cares about what is happening each and every night and is more than fair with each and every driver.
