Let me guess your part of the 14 crew? I like Ken, he was a friend of mine, but they seem to be doing a lot of complaining each week.

Yes princess, I have read the post, and not with the 14, although they do have some good points.
From what I seen as my first year at Sunset is great car counts in all classes and a new owner that is trying hard to dig the track out of a hole. I will agree the tech department is laid back as coming from Barrie the 3rd night of racing they had the head pulled off my car, checking the valves, springs, bore and stroke. My in take was off many times, as well as the carburetor. But I can say I've been in tech 7 times at Sunset and have not even taken my air cleaner off. All they want to do is add weight that is there solution to slow a fast car down. I believe this is lazy and any body could just roll your car across the scales and add 100 pounds. These guys are getting paid to do there job and from what I understand tech is a lot more detail. I watch on any given night the lm's roll across the scales with a pat on the back, good night see yah next week. When I asked the head of tech, what was going on with the lack of teching, his reply was Wes says we have to be out of here in 45 minutes we simply don't have the time. And we don't want to tear anybody all apart like that. So what does this mean?
P.S. Peanut butter that's a cute nickname if your 4 or 5. I think you need to grow up and stop running your mouth, if you think you can do a better job, talk to Wes! And further more for the record my car the 63x weighs 2525, so where did this 2300 come from? I finished 5th in the feature and the solution add 200 more pounds to my car but the 78 car added weight to his car for this week and won the feature, (Good run to him!) The 54, 5, 63x, all ran within the top 10, only the 14 did not have a strong night. That's racing .... it happens!
Every week the 4 cyl tech guy gets information dictated to him from a certain driver? that there are things he needs to check on my car. Who's doing the teching here?? The drivers or the tech officials? If my car is not in tech no body should be over looking at it. So keep whining and complaining, because I'm still the points leader, and at the end of the day I'm not going to give that up because a few people don't like my car or me.
Race me fair, race me clean, real racers don't give up, that's how championships are won.
