I was pulling for Martin as much as anyone, however there was no need to throw the caution.  Anyone who wanted the caution thrown just so Martin could win is not a true racing fan.

Feel bad for Martin.  I was suprised that Kyle made it to the last lap before he took out half the field.  Anyone else agree that he was a weapon all day... if he didnt make so may sudden jerks from the high side to the low side, he probably would've won.  He had a great car, but he couldnt handle it.

I am a Stewart fan, not a Kurt Busch fan, but I think Kurt put a little too much blame on himself (for the first time in his life).  It was too bad that happened tho, they were definately the 2 cars to beat, but I think Stewart would've had it.

By the rulebook, not a fair ending, but i'm sure Martin wouldnt have wanted to win it that way anyway.

I loved Bowyer's finish.  Thats definately a memory that'll stick with him forever.

Anyone else feel like Martin wasn't going to win it while they were under caution?.. It was just one of those things that it just too good to be true for a guy.  Too bad.

Martin got cheated that is all I have to say. The yellow should have been throw when the wreck started. Nascar is not consistant on making calls.

Take a look at the photos via this link:

It looks to me like Harvick was ahead when the 5 starts spinning

Ditto. I would have been the happiest camper around to see Martin win that race but not by getting a caution flag win. It is not clear to me that he was in front when the wrecking started anyway. If you watch the replay he really lost the race when he got loose in the 4th turn. Maybe Harvick took some air off him but it looked to me like he was running a bit higher than normal to try to block and I think that upset the car. If he held his line he might have been able to stay out front.

Anyone who can run down the lead from 5th with one to go is a deserving winner. Congratulations also to Harvick on the Daytona Saturday Sunday double and on RCR for three memorable finishes in the 500.

I also think NASCAR served the fans by not throwing the yellow. Sometimes heat of the moment judgement calls by officials go right after all.
