NASCAR Fines Kurt Busch For Actions At Homestead-Miami Speedway

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 25, 2011) – NASCAR has fined Kurt Busch $50,000 for his actions during the Nov. 20 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

NASCAR determined that Kurt Busch violated Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing – inappropriate hand gesture; abusive language) of the 2011 NASCAR Rule Book.

In issuing the penalty, NASCAR cited Kurt Busch's "poor judgment in making an inappropriate hand gesture" when he drove his car into the garage early in the race after it experienced transmission problems.  In addition, NASCAR said Kurt Busch showed "disrespect towards a media member," an incident that followed similar inappropriate media confrontations earlier in the season.

It was funny to watch him flipping the bird and the in car camera showing it unknowingly, while he pulled into the garage area after breaking at Homestead. All season when things didn't go well, he was real quick to start blaming those around him.

If NASCAR doesn't want these things to happen then put in robots to drive the cars, as drivers have to show their emotions and this is what made NASCAR great but now NASCAR is beginning to bore me.

NASCAR should come out with a set of lines drivers can say while in the car or after the race. Maybe give them cue cards for each question that they might be asked.

Golf seems to be more intresting then NASCAR these days.

There is emotion and then there is just total lack of any self control . The Busch brothers have repeatedly shown a total disregard for anyone but themselves. The  discipline  they have received recently has been well deserved in my opinion.

but other drivers just question NASCAR or say what they don't like they get fined.

Yes the Busch brothers are a pain but many others got fined for voicing an opinion.
