Had to post this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhuWHK0wHdQ ]Juan Montoya Jet Dryer Crash at Daytona 500 2012[/url]
I've seen other post with that clip, and in this context it doesn't fit. Montoya didn't intentionally turn right and wasn't driving recklessly.
Montoya has made A LOT of mistakes in the past, but this was a complete accident, he is not that dumb.
but back to what can be learned from this. If racecars, air craft, and others need a fuel cell, the jet dryers should too
Agreed on the fuel cell. It just makes good sense and shouldn't be that hard to implement.
All I know is I sat there watching that fire spilling down across the racetrack, and pondered what would have happened if Juan hadda planted his car into the back of it rather than glancing off.
Have to agree with d-Hilborn the whole incident was not with intent
and video out of place. It's unfortunate what happened, and could have been worse. NASCAR has always been on top with regards to safety, I am sure they will take all the necessary measures to correct and improve. Personally I thought they did a good job with what was totally unexpected.
People this is just a video no one said it was his fault and if it would have been worse the video would have been made I bet and it wouldn't have been posted here.
It was a freak accident that happened and that's it.
Boy not posting the box of Jimmie Johnson a box of Cheaties Cereal box.
