im a little sensetive  about my earnhardt clan!!!!  as you can see,  but i do know the facts  of the deal,  i have spent way too much time reading every single detail ican. 

I believe Theresa is evil!!  I have two theories on the whole thing (again, just my own convoluted thoughts)
1. She never cared too much for Dale Sr's kids, simply because they weren't hers, and once Sr was gone, she didn't have to put on a show anymore.
2. She did care for JR, fantasized about him in his faded Wranglers, drinking a Bud, and giving her that 'come hither' look...... and he turned her down.

hmmmm?

I'm thinking the latter but hoping for the former!

It's getting so much more expensive to run in Cup... And if you don't do very well then you have to merge with someone else who also isn't doing very well...

There is more than 2 teams here remember... DEI + Ganassi + another team that was around years ago, SABCO. Maybe if you broke it down further there is more.

This is just the snowball rolling down the hill a little further.

It's sad because a few years ago, for a little while after Sr died DEI had a virtual lock on restrictor plate races.

If Wood Bros. folds or has to merge that will be sad, as they are one of the few teams left from the '60's. Petty Enterprises is the other I can think of.

yea HOF and Woods rumours started not too long ago...the boundaries of these sorts of things seem to be changing, usually the manufacturer each team is signed with has a say...but it is also true that HOF Racing loses their Gibbs/yota deal at the end of the year.
