if jr would have been in the car i think a different call would have been made. jmho.

Haven't you seen the replay? I think the replay clearly shows what is being said here and in fact that even if it was Jr. in the 01 car and Tony in the 20 that the right call should be Tony winning.

I think your missing the point Ladybug, Junbug wouldn't have avoided Tony, just watched him spin by infront of him. Anyone of the experienced drivers would have made Tony pay for the second move.

And to be clear, Smith was inside of Tony (allbe it not by much) when Tony moved back to the inside. That's when Smith made a second move further inside. His mistake was to move further. I'm sure this will come up again and Nascar will have another political decision to make. I just hope no one gets hurt!!

Not true one bit. The 01 wasn't even beneath him so therefore there's no chance of wrecking; The 01 just went down there because of no clear shot at the win in the position he was at, or the simple fact that he thought it was legal to pass below the yellow line on the final lap. And even if he was, I honestly don't see anybody else doing it. Only those that have the "drive to do anything for the win, whether wreck competitors or not", such as Kyle Busch.

I can honestly say, your one of the few(can't think of any others) who have seen the replays that way. Regan was without a doubt underneath the left rear corner when the Tony came down.

And,... I stand by my comment, many, many others would have turned the 20. You make 2 moves and all bets are off. Stay tuned, this isn't over. Nascar will be forced to make it "not a judgment call"
