OK I know the 01 went bellow the Yellow line but at the beginning of the show they said NASCAR said that you can't do it but they would also penalize a driver for pushing a guy below the yellow line? Why wasn't Tony Penalized?
I guess it is good for the Sport for Tony to win instead of a a DEI car??
Typical Nascar racing there, politics rule. If stewart passed smith, you can guarantee it would have been good. Didn't dale Junior do the exact same thing with 1 lap to go a couple of years ago?
I honestly don't think Tony pushed Regan down as Regan was going down that way before Tony totally got down. Yes, there was contact, but Regan was below before Tony made contact. Hopefully, thou, they give Regan second as to put him further back than that is a bad call.
And cheater, a similar situation did happen with Dale Jr. in 2003. The case there was Dale Jr. was by Matt by a fender before he went below the line, therefore making the pass official.
