That depends on the sponsor, you basically have to think about what you can realistically get. Also, some sponsors will pay with product, like a body shop painting your car or maybe a trailer dealer giving you a discount. The best way to look at it is that even if you don't get what you were hoping for, it's better than racing a blank car 100% out of your pocket. Good luck, hope to see you at the Bend!

Most sponsors you will get will come from companies/individuals that you/your family already do business with. There is little return for companies if the return is a decal on the kart or trailer. Product/services that a company can donate cost them less than giving you money. Talk to your parents about contacts that they might have that you could approach for help with the racing venture. Personal visits and neatly hand written letters go a long way to demonstrate your commitment. Consider what you/your family could do for them... where do you buy gas, groceries, etc? Who do your parents go to for car service? Who do your parents work for? Will a body shop paint your car for the cost of materials?  Good luck. Hope to see you at the Bend.

Racer, I like your attitude. If you can talk your parents into getting a car I might be interested in helping a little bit with some sponsorship.
Thanks
