Made my first ever trip to Sauble and was impressed. Great car count, great fan count, good group of racers. Let me assure anyone that was wondering, a crate motor in a LLM at Sauble isn't the best idea lol. Next time we'll be a little better prepared but cool track for sure. Outside lane isn't as bad as some say IMO... On a side note I was somewhat mystified by running what seemed like 20 laps under caution, forcing cars to drive through fresh speedy dry and then they have a power sweeper clean it up anyway? lol whatever works...
nice looking ride chris, was parked beside ya, glad u enjoyed your first trip to sauble even if u didnt run up near the front
Good racing at Sauble... Hate to be a negative Nancy, but the announcer is honestly horrible. I think I am bringing ear plugs next time... I could write a page about this, but I wont.
Great to see the positive comments on the night ;D Yes there are 2 grooves at Sauble remember it rained into the afternoon so the track was green but yet there was still an upper groove not all tracks can claim that... too bad the rubber from the 150 got washed away or .....well whatever .....I know Joe spent his first heat on the top as did a few other cars in all three divisions ...anyway once again all the CA$H got handed out and everyone emptied their coolers LOL ;D ;D
and on a side note ...HEY XTREME TEAM 🙂 was that a ELECT THE DOUCE FOR TRACK PRESIDENT sign I saw in your pits LOL.........dam politics LOL ;D
yes it was a very solid field of thunder cars from across ontario,, smokie joe won then Nick Roth from flamboro then frieburger grubb and mullholland for 5th..the LLM race was very good,, kenny wallaces crew where still changing springs and shocks before the feature..wallace finished 3rd..tom gibbons won after the lead cars
collided on the last lap.. there was 2 green white checkers ..kamrath came home 2nd even after being in the pits twice ,once for a flat and once from avoiding a wreck..
a good show and good crowd..
It was the BIG BAD FORD of MARV that Placed 2nd in THUNDER
