dad is looking to make Sauble his new home track. He has run Barrie for many years including 2008. My brother talked to the owner as his g/f works at the speedway. They are willing to welcome the new gen thundercar body style. Only difference would be the newer body style, and with the older cars being harder to find, Thundercars in Ontario are going to heading in this direction sooner anyways.
Barrie rules are pretty similar to those of Sauble. My question is to clarify the rear weight rule of 47% which the website says. Is this rule enforced or has it been amended since being put up on the website. Also it says Ford rear ends can only be used with Fords but they are allowed. My question is, is there anybody out there running Ford rearends and not running Fords? Dad has a GM but runs the Ford rearend due to the fact that the axles on the Ford rearend are longer and do not break as easily. It is more of a safety concern then any kind of advantage and seeing as you do allow Ford rear ends, would this sort of thing be allowed due to safety concerns of breaking axles? I know GM rear ends break more easily at Barrie.....Any help would be appreciated as I think these are the only hurdles right now that we face to make Sauble our new home track.
why, can't we all just get along??? If you can't comment about the question then don't post its that easy.(jmo) What does bashin anyone really do???
i dont think that steeve was bashing anyone in that post but sauble has said yes to welcome us there and we are pleased to say goodbye to barrie speedway. the money sure isnt the same at sauble as it is at barrie but ur treated with respect there and if u have an issue to deal with it actually gets dealt with. anywasy good bye barrie speedway!!!!!
There is a post missing. Thats why my comment does not make sence.
i race a thunder at sauble and we are not allowed ford rear ends this year>>>talk to jason and see what he says about it>>be glad to see ya at sauble dave....always like more cars>>
