Hey Thayne, not sure if you noticed but the weather forecast for Ontario yesterday was not all that great, and likey a few teams chose not to make the long trip to Sauble.
What has happened to this series? Maybe you didn't take the time to look, but we've had better car counts this year than we've had. You might not know it, but these cars cost a few bucks to race, and sponsorship money is hard to find out there so it might be tough for teams to compete in every event. Look in your own backyard before you start throwing stones.

before getting your hair all up in a bunch, take a deep breath...jesus...who cares about barrie or anything....I was talking about OSCAAR, not BSW....i remember 18+ cars at barrie a year or two ago/even 17 at sunset in may... 12 is a substantially less number...really it was 11 if the 12 counts parker's LM (as dan described)

A "few" bucks? These cars cost a FORTUNE to run. I honestly don't know how some guys do it. Race Fuel is through the freaking roof, parts are only going up in cost and the amount of time required to dedicated to this series requires a tonne of commitment. Not only is this series doing well (given what it has had to go through), it's still the BEST series in Ontario for power and driver skill to watch. In my opinion its a superior series compared to NASCAR's Canadian Tire series.
The only thing OSCAAR needs to do is add some lead to that #22 🙂 🙂 🙂
