Jason Shaw is going, Brad Corcoran said he would likely go and Shawn Chenoweth said on his Ontario Oval.com interview that he was going as well. Should be a real invitational with some great runners.

Kennedy, Powell 1 2. Not sure about the rest. Lots of cautions, some intentional wrecking, some fisticuffs. Gresel and Watson DQ'ed for rough driving/not obeying a black flag.

A hot night at the Beach for a number of drivers who showed little patience in a caution filled race, especially so in the first 75 laps that they had to begin counting caution laps and the race was actually checkered under caution.
26 cars attempted to qualify for 24 spots. Brad Corcoran who won the LM feature at Flamboro on Saturday night won both his heats but drew an 8 for the inversion putting Kennedy and Jason Shaw on the front row. Shaw was the only one who could pass Kennedy on the outside all night and led the first 16 laps before his car lost power.
Kennedy then held off lots of challenges from Jamie Cox, Kirk Hooker, Jonathan Urlin, Mark Watson and Cole Powell on restarts.
Cox was running well in 2nd on lap 30 until contact with Andrew Gresel ended his night in the backstretch wall and Gresel received his first black flag of the night for rough driving and had to restart from the rear.
Gresel's other black flag came after contact with Urlin while they were battling Kennedy for the lead after the halfway break with Urlin hitting the front stretch wall and damaging the right side of his car. Gresel received a mechanical black flag after this which he ignored and thus ended up being Dq'ed.
Watson was Dq'ed for I believe rough driving after he and Dion Voerhoeven played bumper tag for numerous laps late in the race.
Kennedy got into the front wall with about 15 laps to go but recovered and Powell was not close enough to take advantage.

26 Late Models and alot of front runners.. Sorry I missed this show even though the race sounds like a caution filled sham ending under caution and all?? Guess thats what happens when ya put 3000 to win on the line!! 😉 How many of said cars were Limited Lates and who did the "fistcuffs" involve???
On a side note Kennedy sure has a knack for coming through in the big money races..
