i think there is room for thunder cars as a div, no matter how fast we are as 4cyls people will alwasys look at it as an entry level div. there has to be a step between 4cyl and llm be it called thunder or super stock means nothing. v6 injected is uncharted territory you would have a hard time convincing people that its a step up when the 4bangers are a full second or more faster, but discusions like this are what may make someone try.

if it is speed as a measure tool then maybee you start the show with the V-6 class followed by the 4cy llm(v-8 class)l

Haha,this is funny...

glad to see someone else is getting a good chuckle ,would you care to throw a comment into the pot and  try and get some one to give it a stir.what would you build/buy for a car at a track with 4,6,or 8 as your racing choice

Camero,8 cylinder with a 602 crate..ya baby!!! Well,maybe a a-body chevelle,i hear they work good also!

If you look at the 2009 llm rules looks like you get a 100# break

There is alot of good points in these posts.  One of the biggest things to solve a a car count at a speedway is play fair, you have a tech official that is disqualifying cars doing alil bit of tech still not enough that is required but whenever a car gets disqualified it gets overturned by the track owner what do we call that, Aconflict  in interest. Keeping a tire rule is a good idea as long as they are going to follow it we bought one tire a night by the rule and was pretty frustrating being able to look 3 cars down and watching them bolt on 4 stickers after you know last weekend they just put tires in too, AS too a 4cyl entry class yes it can be an entry class but only at a stock four level 75 percent of the four cyl can be dqed with simply a tape  measure or just looking at the car (tires sticking outside the body) Trying to can a thunder car class i would think would be a bad idea you gotta keep that class to try and combine them now would be really hard  the thunder cars now today is what the challengers were years ago the LLM class is getting Crazy in price people spending 15000 plus on motors that is ridicoulous i wish they could do something to bring it together but keep spitting out the ideas i guess
