hey whats your guys views on tire soaking at autumn colours? does any body think it is fair or unfair that guys soak their tires even thou the rules state no tire soaking. 4 cars all parked together up on stands no wheels and tires until it was race time duh wonder why? cant leave soaked tires sitting on the car parked in the hot sun can you? Why were tires passed over the fence? why where tires taken home at nite brought back in the morning? 1 car crashed(as usual) 2 won features! and the other well you seen him that speaks for it self! take the trophies home polish it every time you walk by it and smile! Really how good can you really feel winning the trophy knowing you won it cheating and told everyone by doing a interview on video stating that's what you were doing and how to do it and where your rotisserie is and offered to take the interviewer and show him DUH! I guess beside the name Autumn colour feature winner you also get another name CHEATER how long you been doing it? everyone is at Autumn colours from all over the place so it is just not home town people that know its known EVERWHERE NOW! So CHEATERS enjoy your trophies and be proud of your tiles LOSERS! see you next year.
Don't you need like a week to soak tires? ???
If they are not teching the tires, then why bother going into covert mode and pass them over a fence? Why not just walk'm up, or drive'm up to your trailer?
I've talked to people (chasis builders and accomplished drivers) about soaked tires. They tell me that they work in the shorter features, but as far as the longer ones go, the car will fall off harder than it would otherwise.
I guess we could Ricky Brookes it up, that would be fine. But again, i think those features at new smyrna were 25 laps.

there was a protest put in against #22 Chris Mitchell but track officials had no way of testing the tire unprepared i guess when the protest went in is when the tires started going over the fence to a truck on the other side. I have made couple calls to get the guys name that did the video and find out how to get it. I ll post it as soon as i do get it
Chris Mitchell told about the the tire rotisserie they had at their shop so they had lots of time to soak it up
All i can tell ya is this, I sized Mchattie's tires. I watched him scuff them in and sized them when he came in. Mchattie mounted his tires on friday night at his shop and i sized them in saturday morning. The tires were purchased from the track that weekend. Dan went to MY shop and checked out the tires that i had in stock for next year to see if they of a better size, these are new tires i have for next year. If he was soaking them he would have needed them FAR in advance of the day he looked at them, whicch was thursday night. Dan's tires were NOT soaked. That is what i can tell ya for a fact. It's not open for debate. I was there, I know. As far as Chris's tires are concerned, I don't know for 100%. I didn't size'm, i didn't spend any time on them. I would however vouch for chris and his credibility. That's all i know.
