thanks for the report Dennis. Would it have been better if the show have been held (including the parts flea market) on Saturday??? Just curious.
i honestly beleive the reason we got so many cars was due to it being on a sunday afternoon
can't forget the Sauble Thundercar champion as well. #69. A total of 5 track champions. A great field of thundercars. I was very impressed. I figured there would be more Pure stock 4 cylinders in attendance. The best battle of the night was in the 4 cylinder class as Ben Melonhorst came back from a dirty move from Colt Carcone. But Melonhorst passed Carcone again cleanly. I was hoping for a caution in the Thundercar feature to bring some of the cars together. Ed Tremblay in his new generation Thundercar proved that it doesn't matter if you have a new generation or not. These new generations should be allowed at Sunset invitationals. All in all a good day and a good crowd. It wasn't that Frosty at all!
I thought the 97 of Brandon Ronald coming back through the pack in the JCAR 9hp race was pretty good, almost caught the 3 of Jaxon Jacobs. Congrats to Jaxon on his first feature win by the way. It was pretty cold the night before hahaha
Yes I forgot about that #69 car from Sauble which was fast too, McTeer and Frank Davey had quite the battle going for much of the race...
