In the whole scheme of racing Fall colours, an incident in a mini stock heat is of little importance to most people i'm sure, but here goes anyway. I have not raced here before so maybe the on-track type racing rules are a bit different. this is an in-car (orange 37x mini) from my heat. not much to see until the last lap. the 9 car spins across the front of my car. i was assessed a rough driving penaly and scored last. I think i held my line as good as i could, i had no room to go lower as i was right down on the inside, and the guy on the outside had three lanes of room to work with, but chose not to.
please watch and tell me what i should have done differently to avoid the black in this incident.

Yea you didn't do anything wrong and shouldn't have been scored last. I was watching the race and the 9 car came down on you and spun himself out. Your not the only one to have this happen, I race the 99 LM and have been put to the back because of that in the last two autumn colours. I think they see a car spin and automatically assume the car on the inside caused the spin when it was the car on the outside was trying to block.

agreed. Completely blown call. It's sort of like hockey referee's I see in the AHL who assess a penalty based on what they think happened rather than what actually occured.

A lot of wood sawing there hogg! LOL.

It looked to me that you didn't come off the white line at all and you were in the straight then left turn louie wanted your lane. That's the problem with these involved car rules. The officials don't have to actually make a decision and take a stand. As far as I am concerned that is just lazy officiating.
