When are you going to list the Four Fun, Mini Stock, Renegade Truck drivers Slapdown??

Inquring minds want to know. btw ther are no renegade trucks built

Renegade trucks was a creation of Peterborough speedway. As they don't have any thunder cars running there, they wanted to create a division as a step to LLM.

So they created rules, which looked like they were based on Thunder. Spec'n S-10 type trucks, 4 bannger motor and front and rear nose cones.

Problem is, the last thing that any of us that run 8's want to do is run 4-banngers. "Not another 4-bannger class" was the response from the Thunder car crowd. So needless to say, there wasn't much interest there. The mini-stock drivers, already have a class, and car. Why build a one track truck, when you can build a mini-stock, which offers the same performance, but you can run any track with your car. How a 4-banger leaf spring truck, as anything in common, except for a-arm front suspension and RWD, with a LLM, so as to hows its used as a feeder class, is beyond me..

Word was the the track had 5 guys signed up pre-season to race them. Unfortunatly for a new class 5 isn't much. Rumor as to the excact facts, but.. One guy quit racing all together, and didn't build. Then there were 4. I think another didn't bother, then there were 3. Now the last 3 are sitting around, thinking, its only going to be a three car field, and worse if more guys bail, then I will be the only one with one of these trucks and no place to run it.. Think only one was close to being built. Next year, who knows, but I doubt it.

i know of one truck that is built and has been at the track, and i have heard of another being done but i have not seen it

There maybe a few 4 cylinder trucks from Humberstone going.
