Those of you that missed tonight really didn't miss that much. The first round of heats was fairly uneventful but for a couple spins and a mini-stock into the inside wall in turn one. The car counts for Thunder, mini-stock and four fun were great. Think there were 35 Thunders, 6 heats ( so about 65 ) mini-stocks and I couldn't count the four funs. The back 40 field has more cars in it than I've see. There are still a few stragglers coming in and I expect more tomorrow and Sunday. I tried to get all of the drivers that were in attendance but it was impossible. I couldn't here the announcer that well and alot of cars have altered or lettered numbers. The only ones I know for sure are the late models. There are 18 late models ( 31 McWhirter, 36  Elliott, 81 Mercer, 70 (10) Morgan, 10X Gowan, 10 Balson, 71 McHattie, 77 Frenandez, 16 Kimball, 27 Box, 38 Hooker, 06 Wild, 9 Watson, 59 Slaughter, 95 Simone, 97 Cassidy, 5 Maroney, 88 Mitchell ) and I heard 84 Jackson and 15 Lynch may show up on Sunday. Looks like all cars make the show so a few more may show up on Sunday as well. The heats were won by McWhirter and Morgan. The Modified field was disappointing as only 9 cars took the green won by the Varney 12 of Maclean. Also heard the 46 of Darrin Kearnen will be there tomorrow. The Limited Late Model field was a bit better with 30 cars in the pits. The three heats were won by the 8 of Sauble's Jason Parker, the 7 of Tony Tiemersma ( driving the 2-time Autumn Colours winner of McWhirter ) and the 37 of Rick Walt. The Thunder car heats were pretty tame as well. Willie Ryens won one of them and the others were won by the 30 of Sauble's Davenport, the 77X of ?? and the 27 of ??. Couldn't hear the announcer. Sorry but again, due to the number changes and unfamiliarity with the cars, I can't give you much info on the mini-stock or 4-fun cars just that there are alot of them. Show was over just after 9pm so I suspect it could be an early night tomorrow as well. Another set of heats will take 3 more hour, last chances for 4-fun, mini-stock, Thunder and LLM another 2 as well as heats for the Oscaar Super Late Models at an hour and the Hurricane midgets show for about 30 minutes. That 61/2 to 7 hours so starting at 3:30 should be done around 10:30. One more note. The cheeseburger was especially delicious tonight. I will definately recommend. It ACTUALLY rivalled the Flamburger. And $48 in the pits for 3 days of racing ain't bad. Really looking forward to tomorrow.

Thanks for the update....great counts all around..except for the LM count is a bit low..conseriding they had 25 last year.....and the Mod's...if there's only 9 I hope they drop the 40 lap feature down to 25 or so.

I bealive the LLM LCQ will be Sunday morning acroding to the schedule on the PTBO site...unless something has changed?

Looking forward to tommrow...I won't be able to get there untill about 4:30-5:00(due to work) but should be lots of racing....and then more on Sunday so I'm not to concerned with missing some tommrow.

I wound't think it should take that long tommrow..... I think adding in supers, midgets & the B races should maybe add at the most 3 more hours....so I would think it be wraped up by 9:30, then again if there is a lot more incidents and they take years to line the cars back up...it could get very late.

One more thing I noticed. Quite a few Peterborough regular LLMs weren't there tonight that I saw. Didn't see the 9 of Pollock, 16 Connolly, 54 Bull, 56 Fulford, 66 Crowe, 89 Feeney or the X of Foster. Maybe I just missed a couple but I know alot of them aren't there.

That is very odd  ??? ...... I suspect every division will gain probably 1-3 more cars atleast come tommrow...... so I suspect you'll see atleast a couple more PTBO regulers show

Its a bit to heavy in 4-bannger classes. Seems everyone has brought theirs out.

3-days events are a bit long, so I would suspect more cars will be out tomorrow. Since the tottal points from both heats equal your start in the A or B feature, from every class, thunder up, all you need is a single top 5 (didn't do the math, but thats my safe guess say a single top 7) and that gets you into that A.

Decent racing tonight, nothing special, but I expect that will pickup some.
