yea me too, the nephew almost wrote my car off in june...
]One more question on the tape the flagman was he waving the while flag at the restart and if so was the white still out when the 35 &03 came back around the 2nd time or was that the move over flag.Looked at the tape a couple of times and it looks like the same flag but not sure.
The 1st flag was green which was the restart after a caution where all lapped cars (35 Tolton) should have been put to the back like the owner of the track said at the drivers meet. The next flag was white cause it was the last lap 74th lap,
One question and not trying to start a fight or defend him but how do we know that Tolton was a lap down. With all of the cautions in that race and front runners having trouble he may have been on the lead lap. That DOES NOT change things, whether he was 1 or 100 laps down he STILL took Dario out. I am just sick of the track taking half the blame on this one. Tolton is 100% to blame, he drove the car. And most of you know, I have been on JP regarding numerous issues on this board before so am not a Peterborough Speedway diehard, but don't feel he should be taking ANY heat for this one. And as far as the Inglis incident. Is there any video of that one? I was watching the front of that pack but didn't see exactly what happenned when that pack ran up on the 71 to lap him.
Slapdown im not trying to fight with anyone either beleive me. The reason i know he was down laps is because a few drivers and numerous pit crew member saw him in the middle pits talking with JP himself while the race was under green, I remember him going off a few times was writing everything down on paper ask anyone who was sitting around me, after they posted the final results in the pits they said a the drivers meeting you have 15 min to protest the results if you dont agree with them as they wrote down that the 35 finished ahead of the 03 everyone standing there had nothing good to say, i ran to the pit and told Dario he has 15 min to protest this he came back with me went inside to plead his case JP reviewed it admitted to Dario he was right and that the track had made a mistake took Tolton in talked to him the score guy I think his name is mike corrected the final result placing the 03 before the 35 then we waited for over an hour for the payouts. Finally when the payouts came the 12thplace cheque wasnt there for Dario we found out that for that hour he was talking to tolton and had given tolton the 12 th place cheque and given dario the 13th winnings and Jp didn even have the balls to come and talk to Dario again
One question reguarding Tolton (35 ) being down laps was he in the pits during a caution (donot know if caution laps counted) but if laps did not count and he got out of the pits before they went green again he would be on the same lap as long as he came in during caution and out on same caution.
