Staying @ Emily park this year .10km away Don't have to worry about getting a spot No generators running allnight ,hydro showers, and camp fires aloud

Emily Park is a great spot. I live 5 minutes away from there. I think a lot of out of town race fans stay there, you'll bump into a few no doubt! Like you said, it'll be all yours too, not near 1/4 capacity at this time of year.

does anybody know how late they keep the pits open for parking on thursday night? thanks

I'd call ahead to get a definitive answer. Last year it was open until 10 ish.

IMO, I'd say : It depends....(weather, amount of people, etc.)

Got here lastnight(Thursday) around 6pm and it was already packed!  Tons of cars and campers already. We were able to get tech done as well which was nice. Huge line of cars and trailers parked in line waiting to get in this morning. Not a cloud in the sky and the forcast is the same for the whole weekend!  Gonna be a great one!!
