He also knocked me out of the race when something happened to sheppards car and him and parker got into each other. I was behind them and lifted a bit coming off of 4 on the high side. Baker was on the inside and TONNED me. he hooked me and threw me into the wall. It happened so fast, there was no time to react. If he was more heads up, that to would have never happened. Thats why his fender was up and his wheel was exposed. Being an involved car at that point of the race, he should've gone to the back and then that last lap wreck would have never happened. Like you asked, How do they score there? Seems to me there was a lot of cars that were not in the proper position. Even at the start. They had long cautions to screw everything up. The race could have been a whole lot different. Just my opinion.
I agree I think they should be at least five spots back as they were scored. And on the restarts I have no idea as to how they placed the cars as I know I wasnt placed properly. I think they should look at there scoring and go back and look at the video and realize they didnt even take the green on the restart as you can see them in the pits . Would it be safe to say five spots equals $50 lol not the money just the principal. If fifty bucks meant alot i wouldnt be in this profitable sport. LOL
Every time I get all whiny about not being at Autumn Colours with my car, the spectacular wrecks remind me that its a pretty good idea to leave the car at home and just watch. Either that or get a junk car and run that instead 🙂
Yeah, I know, "got all winter to fix it" etc. Still perhaps a disposable car is a better option 🙂 Yet as each season nears the end, the itch to be in craziest and most anticipated event of the year grinds the brain into pulp...
As it is, it's gonna be painful waiting all winter to get back on the track after an extended absents. The Sprint Cup is rather boring (Johnson is practically a lock to win his 5th in a row) and I'd rather go to Speedweeks.
For those interested, I'm also heading to Mooresville in Feb to pick up some parts and taking the trailer with me. PM me if any of you are interested in going down with me and picking up a few things....
I don't think it matters how much time anybody has to fix a car from something that could've been avoided in the first place. I'de rather work on my car to make sure everything is right over the winter to start next year strong. Not reclipping it or having to put more money into a bunch of bent up parts. Racing deals happen but if everybody was a little more heads up and try not to over drive there cars, we would have better racing from our seats and a lot more respect for one another. Lets face it, your not going to hit it everytime. We were awsome in qualifying but not so good for the main. I was just trying to survive and maybe get a top 10. Didn't happen.
Well I certainly will be busy this winter. I'm looking at about $10,000 or more to put the # 4 car back on the track. Any sponsors out there ? lol
