As mentioned above, NSS does have a durometer rule, But they also allow soaking of the tires as the tires they are using, are pretty hard. So it sounds like they made them a little to soft.

Concerning the Super Late: the rules allow for soaking... but the minimum softness is 40. The top five blew that.
Concerning Watson: he used racing gaz which was purchased here at a dirt track. But the rules require using pump gaz purchased at the track. They tested it and it failed. The team did not argue and took the rulling.
