I would hang on to your tickets - the forcast for Wednesday
isnt so great. They may be running on thursday yet.
I agree - i think there were about 30 thunder stocks. Too bad
they wont get to run.
well, I'm going down with HaveBus again...so I hope it gets called early if it does, or eles were gonna lose all this money to HaveBus again..for going down for nothing.
and apprently they have 3-4 full bus loads...unlike for the LM's ....+ the ones from tonight...so there going to have a lot of P'O'd people this time. beause they didn't refund us anything for the LM show, and only reason we went with them again....was beacuse it's 2 hour drive or so...and both me & my dad have to work very early the next morning.
what peeves me is that i would have sat it out in the parking lot....but the girl at the ticket booth told me, and it turns out alot of other people, that the tuesday rainout was thursday....and i'm not that big of a sprintcar fan, just knew there would be alot of thundercar/stocks....and now none of them are racing.
I believe there is insurance you can buy from HaveBus if there is a rainout, so you don't lose your money...Anyone who is booking with HaveBus should ask them about it.
All details regarding tomorrow are now posted on the Ohsweken site at http://www.OhswekenSpeedway.com ...We had to get out of the very wet speedway grounds and get home before the site could be updated, so that's the reason for the delay.
Nobody wanted to cancel the Thunders or Minis, but in the interest of getting the shows over with at a decent hour, that decision had to be made. There were 31 Thunder Stocks in the pits tonight, and it would assuredly have been a great part of the show.
Tommy - any chance the speedway could hire an OPP
to speed traffic thru the stop sign about 1-2km north
of the speedway? I took about an hour to get that
far tonight. I know flamboro used to do that (back
when they actually had crowds at the track).
