Congratulations to Cole Powell on capturing his first late model feature win, muscling his way past Ontario LM veteran Pete Vanderwyst with 2 to go to capture Kawartha's final LM race of 2009. It was heart break for Chris Morrow who dominated until engine problems ended his night with 2 to go. The race was slowed by a multitude of cautions that were more than preventable. What was more annoying than the cautions were the idiots that wouldn't get in line under caution. Lynch finally had enough and parked the 8 of Sinopoli for disobeying officials. He could have done it to alot more than the 8. Hell, lapped cars were fighting lead lap cars for position under caution.    Lynch could have and definately should have put the lapped cars to the back tonite. They caused the majority of the problems. They had 4 or 5 cautions between lap 81 and 83. The placing of cars was a joke too. It wasn't consistant at all, but was almost impossible for scoring again due to the idiots running 2 and 3 wide under caution. The racing was great when they were racing especially Powell, Vanderwyst, Morrow, Jackson and Brown. But when 29 cars start and 8 finish, well, that says it all. Again, a big congratulation to Powell on his win. Some notes. 2009 Kawartha ministock Champion, Mike Wallace has been inquiring about a couple of LM's. Larry Jackson ran his old car, normally campaigned by Kelly Wood. Deaf driver Kris Martinwas fast in the 4 Urlin car. Heard the Toms and Kimball crews had a bit of a rukus. Late models on hand were 1 Parsons, 81 Mercer, 25 Powell, 25ON Waite, 10 Morgan, 6 Jackson, 55 Rankin, 11 Morrow, 88 Matthews, 29 Smith, 11 Morrow, 31 MacPherson, 2 Baird, 4 Martin, 7 Sinopoli, 8 Sinopoli, 31 MacWhirter, 7 Vanderwyst, 77 Fernandez, 20 Brown, 5 Moroney, 79 Horner, 19 Montenari, 27 Box, 24 Jossiase, 16 Kimball, 91 Hart, 44 Moffatt, 07 Kirby. NOTE : 71 McHattie and 9 Watson are at NHIS running the ACT invitational. 71 McHattie crowned 2009 LM champ last week.

Donaldson won the Thunder feature and the points championship and Mike Wallace won the ministock feature, ( I think, didn't see the end ) and the points championship.

larue, what happenned  with the two crews? Was spotting so really didn't see what happenned on track. Toms was pissed Kimball for a wreck but I didn't see a thing. Not being able to spot on the roof now really sucks!!! Insurance thing I guess.

Slapper
I wasnt there, but heard all about it with the 27 car getting blamed for crashing toothless Norm Mayhew.I guess he was feeling tough and threw his steering wheel at Donny munce, when Donny stopped to ask him how he takes his coffee,he starts to boot his car!!He is lucky munster wears a hans device, and kind of hard to get out of your car quickly, cause i would paid extra to see that. Then later in the pits,i guess Dereck had to hold someone back from tuning Norm up!!
