Why would Morgan purchase Thompsons Alstar car? it is a great car but it is already outdated to Kawartha rules , he didnt even bring it there for the specials. Seems like money wasted to me!

How is it out dated? Mc Coll said it him self best car ever made, Thompsons said it himself i would race this car over any other car i have driven, it is ACT legal has the best of everything and only reason that Thompson didn't race it at the specails was because he was in the lead in points in ALSTAR and didn't want to wreck that car which would wreck his campoinship i wanna know why u think its such a waist of money!!!

Hey Slapdown could you tell us just what was said in this letter? I recieved my rules/ registration form package in the mail, but there was nothing in there about combining the classes. Was this something that just went out to the Late Model teams?

Just my opinion no need to get upset! I just figured with Kawartha going in the direction of ACT with the coil over suspension that a camaro style front end would not be the best route to go in the future!

its a fast car no matter which way u look at it what other car has one 3 Alstar championships, the flamboro triple crown, and more big races i dunno its a fast car i think it will keep up to all coil over cars out there

Sumguy, I haven't seen the letter but I was told that the class merge was mentioned in the letter. I'll try to get a copy of it and let you know.
