Thought I would post this here on behalf of Drew:
The 89 team is returning to oscaar action this friday at kawartha to help support an Innerkip family. Rachel is a grade 3 student at my kids school that had a cancerous tumor removed at the end of august that was attached to her brain stem. She is still in the hospital and her mom is staying with her while her younger sister is back at school. Her mom can't work so the school is raising money to help out. The 89 team is going to race for Rachel and any winnings and donations will be sent to the school . I would like to thank Rob Carke and the 49 team for donating tires and a nice donation. Anyone interested in giving a donation towards Rachel and her Family please stop by the #89 trailer.

how many Kawartha LM's? From CCS Munro has it on his schedule and a friend told me Kirby would be there. I expect Baird tto,as he went to the others and is 3rd in the standings. Hopefully Holtom will be there again. I don't expect the McPherson will go as he has a Castrol ACT race in Montreal on Saturday. Don't think Rump went to either previous Kawartha ones.
Looks like I'll be sneaking out of the office as early as possible on Friday since I don't want to miss the final points night.LOL And as a warning to anyone travelling in front of me that night, get out of my way I'm in a hurry to get to the track and I'm not affraid to use the plastic front end of my car to move you.LOL
DWfan4ever give me you Lic plate maybe I can draft off you and save some money on gas. Don't worry I will bump ya a few times to help ya pass cars.
Ken Baird will be there. At his firts appearance in July, the car was slower than top runners for about 0.4 seconde. Since that day Ken improved the car for strong race at Ottawa in the Castrol ACT race.
He his now in third place in the Kawartha-Ottawa Championship.
Its too sory that 2 races were rained out at Ottawa with no replacement. This disturbs totaly the Championship. I think the season is too short in Ontario. Its always possible to race unti late in October, specialy in Toronto region. In Montreal, we will have a Procam race October 18th. With a warmer climate now, its time to think to have longer season.
Good success to Ken Kaird
